Yes, we will send you the information on how easy it is to apply for your Electronic Travel Authority. There is an App that makes the process simple to do. You will need an e-Visa to enter Australia.
We work with girls groups, multi generational family trips, families, groups wanting to attend or participate in sporting events in Australia, cruise groups .
We also host small group vacations to Australia so you receive a "local" experience of the area being visited.
I work with Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises and some of the smaller and more luxury cruise lines. If you have seen a cruise and want to understand options for on shore excursions, pre and post cruise days, or to add amenities that are only available to Travel Advisors, then reach out.
Just like when you travel to Europe you need to add two travel days to your actual vacation days. The only difference in travelling to Australia is that you lose one day on the way over as you cross the international date line. Don't worry though, you gain that entire day back when you fly back to the USA. You fly on Friday, you arrive on Friday, sometimes not long after you left Australia. It's a bit strange I know, but it will all make sense once you are on your trip.
We would recommend planning for at least 10-14 days vacation time in Australia.
Are you going to see much in that time? Not a lot, no. Australia is nearly as large as the United States land mass wise, so imagine trying to see all of the USA in 10 days. Impossible. You wouldn't do it in Australia either.
My hope is that you see an area of Australia that has you want more, so you plan a return visit to see more of it in the future.
As of February 2024 the US dollar is still buying more than the Australian dollar equivalent. That means for every USD you get more than one AUD.
Prices in Australia have risen since the pandemic, and you will still fine prices equivalent to what you would in the USA. It will depend on the areas you are visiting as to what prices are like.
No, and yes! Australians speak English, but it's their own version of English where a lot of what is said is shortened. You won't hear an Australian say afternoon when 'arvo' works just as well, and others understand it. :)
Ask me about some "Australian" language classes. Yes, I'm fair dinkum.
