Thanks for helping me plan my trip to the Red Center, Karen. I’m so glad I made the trip. Your recommendations were great and you took all the stress off the planning. All I had to do was check my itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the best time to Visit Australia?
We personally recommend the shoulder seasons in March/April or September/October. But, as Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere there isn’t a bad time to visit.
Are the spiders and snakes dangerous?
Some are poisonous, yes, but they aren’t all at the airport to meet you when you arrive. Most places you visit will be in tourist spots where the local guides are familiar with where to go and what to do. They will advise you if you need to be extra careful. Otherwise, don’t worry and just immerse yourself in the experience.
It’s a long way to travel to get there!
It is a long haul flight if you fly direct, sure. But, there are ways to break up the flight with stop overs if you like to experience other places, like Fiji or New Zealand. And, if you work it out, it’s not a lot further than traveling to Europe, with a layover. It’s shorter in fact.
How long should I plan to visit?
Imagine I was telling you to come visit the USA. Australia is as large, land mass wise, as the U.S., which means, that anything less than 10 days and you aren’t going to see much. It would be better to have 14 days or more to visit, so you really get to immerse yourself in the Aussie culture.
Is it expensive in Australia?
The US dollar and Australian dollar aren’t equal. With the exchange rate you get more than one dollar Aussie for every U.S. dollar you exchange. Prices in Australia already include taxes. That means, if a bill says $25, you only pay $25. If you buy a pair of shoes and the price tag says $50, that’s all you pay at the cash register.
Tipping is not standard, nor expected in Australia. That means overall you will pay less for the things you buy.

We are here to answer them for you. Ask away! As long as they relate to your planned trip of course.
